Key Team Members
Jamie McDonald
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Drawing upon extensive expertise in business administration,
commercial strategy, and operations, Jamie assumes a comprehensive
leadership role overseeing all facets of the company. He is actively
engaged in day-to-day operations where his specific emphasis lies in
managing projects and specialised freight movements.
With a strong focus on customer service, Jamie takes a proactive
approach by keeping clients informed about potential industry changes
or delays, such as carrier strikes or freight bottlenecks. Regardless of the
complexity of freight requirements, Jamie views each challenge as an
opportunity to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
Jamie is a proud Tweed Bundjalung man with strong ancestral ties to
the Tweed Valley and Gold Coast Hinterland. With an impressive eightyear
career as a professional NRL player, he is passionate about health,
regular exercise, and training, with boxing ranking among his favourite
sports.
Jay McDermott
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Jay brings a wealth of knowledge and epertise to his role as Business Development Manager.
Throughout his career, Jay has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing complex projects,
developing effective strategies, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. He has a proven track record of delivering results and driving innovation in a variety of industries. Under Jay’s leadership, his team is sure to benefit from his experience and expertise.
Jay is a proud Minjungbal and Mununjali man. His experience in providing seamless strategies
for Aboriginal communities and the business sector ensures successful and meaningful
outcomes for all involved. Outside of work, Jay is an avid golfer. He is a current member of the
PGA and is the first Aboriginal person to become a Professional golfer. Jay widely applies this
determination when encouraging Indigenous participants in achieving their goals.
Linda Pasquariello
CUSTOMER SUPPORT & OPERATIONS
With a strong background in the marine industry, Linda brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping others to her role at JMAC. Having worked on yachts, undertaken Pacific yacht deliveries, and supported both B2B and B2C customers in marine sales, she has developed a deep understanding of service, problem-solving, and customer care. Linda thrives on building connections and takes pride in supporting local businesses to succeed. She has a particular strength in offering tailored solutions, whether it’s helping customers navigate logistics challenges or ensuring they have the right support at the right time. Her approach is always customer-first, with the belief that “there is always a solution to be found.” Outside of work, Linda’s love for the ocean continues to shine through. She can often be found sailing, enjoying time in the water, tending to her garden, and propagating native plants, or practicing yoga.
Claire Salmon
ACCOUNT OFFICER
Claire is a detail-focused Accounts Officer with over a decade of experience across bookkeeping, banking, procurement, and administration. At JMAC, she plays a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting both our internal teams and valued clients. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Claire combines strong communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail, helping to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. She is committed to delivering reliable financial support that reflects JMAC’s values of trust, accountability, and customer focus. Outside of work, Claire is a proud mum of two young children and enjoys spending time at the beach, practicing Pilates, and keeping active with yoga.
